Grey’s Sugar Rush

A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down. Well, there’s was so much sickly sweetness crammed into last night’s season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy it became harder to swallow with each passing commercial break.

Yes, the final two minutes were pretty satisfying. I won’t spoil anything here but let’s just say a couple of answers were given that will push certain romantic relationships in new directions. (How’s that for vague?)

But the other stuff – the McDreamy/McSteamy bonding moment was gay (literally) and out of character, not to mention silly Lexie – that would be Meredith’s step-sister – joining the staff as an intern and being all sweet and cool and kind to George George looking like a fucking emo loser the whole time.

The worst had to be Izzie doing emergencu surgery on a fucking deer in the parking lot and then having a stairwell exchange with George over which of them was really most like bambi. Give me a break!

The rate of diabetes at Seattle Grace Hospital must be off the charts.
