Happening NOW: June 10, 2010

What’s happening June 10, 2010:

Seems like everyday we get another announced irritant from the G20 meet. This time your cellphone will possibly be taking a break in a couple of weeks as cell signal blockers are deployed.

Remember Helena Guergis? She’s finally going to be investigated by the ethics commish over a deal with a waste management company. Also, a con lawyer says her chatter about not knowing allegations against her are BS.

The mystery man with a limp and a few missing fingers who bought some fertilizer (used for farming, pot growing, and freaking out people in Toronto) has been found. He’s a farmer!

Argh, Google is so annoying. So many people will waste time today trying to figure out how they accidentally put a big ugly motivational poster-style picture on their comfortingly blank search page. Turns out it was Google’s idea – and you can’t get rid of it.

Finally, check out this amazing map which displays where tourists take photos in Toronto and compares them to where locals shoot. It can double as a map of where not to go on weekends. Or better yet, use another of Eric Fischer’s geotagged world maps to plot out your vacation.[rssbreak]
