A GO bus driver is going viral for a heartfelt announcement he made at the end of a recent journey.
The moment was captured in a TikTok video posted earlier this week, where the driver thanked travellers for riding the bus.
“It is truly my pleasure serving all you wonderful passengers on this ride today, and I’d like to wish each and every one of you, also your loved ones and family lots of goodness and joy,” the driver said, whose name is Casimir D’Souza, Metrolinx confirmed.

The video has over 145,000 views and almost 30,000 likes as of publication.
Metrolinx, the transit agency that manages GO Transit, told Now Toronto that it is proud to have staff who exemplify caring customer service and that it is grateful for drivers like D’Souza.
“He is known to passengers and colleagues for his positive and helpful attitude. One customer shared that he is ‘someone who radiates positive energy’,” the transit company said.
“Moments like these, made possible by dedicated drivers like him, reflect our commitment to making every trip as enjoyable as possible. We’re always looking for opportunities to brighten our customers’ day and make their journey with us special,” the statement continued.
Many people online are reacting to the wholesome announcement.
“I actually love this driver so much…he’s my absolute favorite and he’s always sweet like this, literally always,” another user commented.
“This is so sweet. We need to recognize this beautiful human,” someone else said.
“He’s my favourite driver when I take the GO. Makes me tear up listening to his messages,” another person wrote.
D’Souza drives the #12 bus which goes from Union Station to Niagara Falls.
