In Photos: Freedom Convoy trucks sat out anti-mandate protest in Toronto

The ”Freedom Convoy” is running out of gas in Toronto.

Anti-mandate protestors, some carrying jerry cans, didn’t have the expected trucker escort honking alongside them on Saturday (February 12). After much hullabaloo that the protestors who have Ottawa under siege would be making a U-turn to Toronto following a too-late state of emergency declared by Premier Doug Ford, Saturday’s protest at Queen’s Park added up to the familiar fanfare after police blocked access to the downtown core.

Despite rumours that members of the ‘freedom convoy’ were relocating to Toronto, no trucks arrived in the city prior to the weekly anti-vaccine protest at Queens Park, February 12, 2022.
