Protestors and counter-protestors filled the streets of Toronto Saturday from hospital row on University to Bloor. People opposed to vaccine mandates and other public health measures occupied the intersection of Bloor and Avenue for most of the day.
Protests also took place in Victoria and Quebec City as an extension of the “Freedom Convoy” occupation now entering its second week in Ottawa.
Toronto police reported only one arrest related to the protest, and they cleared the intersection shortly after sundown.
