It’s Just a Phase – Review

It’s Just a Phase

Play by: Marissa Gregoris

Presented by: Gregarious Productions

Rating: NNNN

Venue 3: THEATRE PASSE MURAILLE MAINSPACE

It’s Just a Phase takes campy fun to a whole new level. Convinced that her daughter’s lesbian relationship is “just a phase,” Mamma Rita tries to fix Alexis up with a cowboy from Calgary, only to find out that nobody is who they seem. Marissa Gregoris’s razor-sharp script is full of well-constructed characters like Tony, the not-so-secretly gay dad, and Helen, a self-hating dyke-in-denial.
