Peoples’ Assembly on Climate Justice This is the fourth assembly hosted by a roster of groups including Greenpeace Canada, Council of Canadians, Kairos Toronto, Mining Watch Canada, OCAP, and several more. The Art, Science and Spirit of Decolonization It’s a fancy title, but this workshop, hosted by Mayworks, aims to explore how supporting indigenous culture and ancient wisdom traditions promote decolonization and community building. It features Zainab Amadahy, an activist of African-American and Cherokee heritage, and author of the novel, Moons of Palmares. Saturday, May 12, 1 pm. Free. Steelworkers Hall. See listing.

Remembering our Public Services Mayworks and the Department of Public Memory host a creative workshop aimed at keeping the memory of lost public services alive.
