Money, it’s a drag
We’re not having such a great time with our cash system these days. It seems to demand senseless growth, and lacks sensitivity to global scarcity. We need a little dose, perhaps, of what Charles Eisenstein, author of Sacred Economics: Money, Gift And Community In The Age Of Transition has to offer. The Inner Garden hosts the author, who sketches out a new financial structure based on local currencies, gift economies and the restoration of the commons. Friday (May 3). $20. 401 Richmond West, suite 384. theinnergarden.ca.
