Ontario reporting 112 new cases of COVID-19

Safety protocols are in place at the Toronto Eaton Centre to minimize COVID-19 exposure risk.

The province of Ontario is reporting 112 news cases of COVID-19.

Twenty-nine of the provinces 34 public health units are reporting five cases or fewer. Seventeen public health units are reporting no new cases at all.

The province is reporting one new death. There were six deaths reported yesterday.

The data shows that the number of total new cases has been on a slightly upward trajectory since early June.

The number of deaths related to COVID-19 has stabilized since late June.

The gap between the number of active versus hospitalized cases also seems to be widening.
