Party on, Doug!

Doug Reinhardt is coming to suburbia this Friday!

Wait, who?

[rssbreak]

Doug Reinhardt, you know, the latest Hills hunk. The blonde and beefy 23-year-old, who wept a dramatic tear after LC dumped him, is making a special appearance at a Halloween party this Friday at 905 nightclub Luxy.

Competition for crowds will be fierce among bars, lounges and clubs as Halloween falls on a Friday this year, and Luxy’s getting competitive by hosting a celebrity – albeit a very minor celebrity.

So will the L.A. import’s presence draw crowds? Yes. Hills fans will undoubtedly gloss their lips and show up at the event hoping for a photo-op with the stud.

Believe it or not, Reinhardt isn’t new to hosting Toronto parties. He’s schmoozed at Chevel during TIFF twice, and he doesn’t just work the Toronto circuit. He jets out every weekend to locales like Calgary, Philly and Connecticut. Who knew? You can even keep track of where he is on his website.

Reinhardt’s grand appearance this Friday is kind of similar to that of Mark the Cobrasnake‘s, everyone’s favorite scenester photo-snapper. Cobra Snake is hosting a party at Wrongbar this Friday, too, and we all know that Mark will be flying in from LAX. Maybe he and Reinhardt will be on the same flight?

But there’s more to Reinhardt than his party appearances.

Firstly, he is a billionaire. He keeps busy by attending Pepperdine, managing a company that specializes in “mobile solutions,” working with a real-estate investment company, filming with The Hills cast, getting interviewed on KTLA, and hanging out with Leonardo DiCaprio. Oh, and he played professional baseball for a year. How did he have time to date Lauren Conrad anyways?

And with all these extracurriculars, doesn’t he have anywhere else to be for Halloween? The Luxy party can’t be better than any party in L.A., can it? And he can’t be hosting the party for the money – it is, after all, a Vaughan nightclub. How much money could they possibly have to offer?

For Mr. Billionaire, being the centre of attention for a night is probably the lone reason for making the trek to the outskirts of Toronto. For a guy who describes his sense of humor as “contagious” and his charm as “breathtaking,” vanity is enough motivation.
