Heavy music lost a bright and immensely talented figure with the sudden passing of Raven, the bassist for industrial gods Ministry, as well as long time member of the seminal post-punk/industrial band Killing Joke. Details aren’t clear, but apparently his death was due to a heart attack suffered while in a small French village where he was working on a new music project.
While his work might not be hugely familiar to some, judging from the shocked responses of many people he worked with and influenced over the years, it’s pretty clear that his personality and talent touched many. His creativity will certainly be missed.
