In photos: Halloween on Church Street 2017

A six-block stretch of the city’s LGBTQ enclave, the Church Wellesley Village, was closed to traffic for several hours on Halloween so costumed revelers could take over. Halloween is an essential date on the calendar for a community that really doesn’t need an excuse to dress-up. There was fake blood, fake fur and free hugs. Here are some choice shots.
