all 19 protestors arrested inthe “eviction’ at finance minister Jim Flaherty’s office will appear in Oshawa court July 18 to set a trial date. The release last week week of Aurita Withers and Omid Zareian reduces to two the number still in Whitby jail: Sean Lee Popham and John Clarke. Withers was released June 28 on $15,000 bail and house arrest conditions. Zareian was told to move in with his co-surety, girlfriend Nancy Laplante, and refrain from protests until trial. Popham and Clarke, were denied bail on June 27 and 29 respectively.
