Robert Sylvester Kelly, or, as he introduces himself on songs, “your boyfriend Kells,” emerged this week with a new hair colour. And so, for some, a platinum-bronzed R. Kelly only adds to the intrigue: is he crazy or in on the joke? Or is there no insanity nor joke, but mere eccentrism? Or is his affinity for all-things golden going to his head?
R. Kelly is due back in court on May 9 to face child pornography charges.
