The Beaches’ wonderfully awkward Easter Parade

Yesterday, to celebrate Christ’s big day – or, if you don’t believe all that stuff, spring…or whatever Easter supposed to connote in the secular context – the annual Beaches Easter Parade worked it way along Queen Street East from Munro Park to Woodbine Avenue. Mayor Ford was there, gently tossing out Easter treats in an effort to recuperate his wobbly image by doing all that basic, genial stuff that people generally expect of a mayor. At last!
