Amateur MCs stepped up to the mic at the 9th anniversary of Hip-Hop Karaoke at Revival Bar on February 19. The popular event allows local hip-hop fans to bust out their favourite rap lyrics while accompanied by a DJ on stage.
Launched in New York City in 2004, Hip-Hop Karaoke quickly gained momentum spawning chapters all over the world. The Toronto edition started in 2007 and meets once a month at Revival.
The 9th anniversary event was hosted by Abdominal and More or Les, featuring DJ Ted Dancin and special guest Del the Funky Homosapien.
