Monday 4

Brian Wilson His reputation as an ambitious producer started with his painstaking obsession over details on the Beach Boys’ landmark 1966 album, Pet Sounds, which draped a dark cloud of melancholy and alienation over the pop group’s sunny disposition. In recent years, the now 74-year-old has been a prolific live performer, and his latest tour marries both facets of his storied career. He and an 11-piece band (including former bandmates Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin) perform that record in its entirety to mark its 50th anniversary.
