Donovan Woods Singer/songwriter is having a good year. His fourth album, 2016’s Hard Settle, Ain’t Troubled, is scooping up accolades (two Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations, Polaris Music Prize long list), and after years of writing tunes for Nashville musicians (he spends half his time in Toronto and the other half in the country-music capital), he recently was signed to Warner/Chappell, a rare feat for a Canadian.
