WHO: Tom Brazier, owner and operator of Tiny Tom’s Donuts, exclusively made for amusement park pleasure.

WHERE: At the Ex, two stalls in the Food Building, one trailer outside the Food Building’s east door and a permanent location in the Direct Energy Building, open from 10 am to 10 pm, except the trailer, which stays open to 11 pm. Tom’s also has two stalls at Canada’s Wonderland.

SINCE WHEN? “All my life. My father started Margaret’s Donuts at the Ex in the 40s, and Tiny Tom’s is an offshoot that opened in 1960.

PRICE THEN AND NOW? “I don’t know if I should tell you. Oh, well, okay. In 1966 they were 25 cents a dozen. Now they’re $3.50 a dozen.”

SECRET INGREDIENT? “Freshness – made in sight for your delight.”

HAS THE RECIPE CHANGED? “No, except that now we fry in trans-fat-free canola oil.”

FAVOURITE RESTO? “Swiss Chalet. Is that too boring?”

ANYTHING ABOUT THE OLD EX YOU pine for? “Exhibition Stadium. I miss the concerts and the ball games.”

DO YOU DO WEDDINGS AND BAR MITZVAHS? “We’re actually getting into that come January.”

DONUT WINE CHOICES? “Red with the apple cinnamon, of course, white with the icing sugar, cinnamon and powdered chocolate.”
