Where's the best place to find cheap art supplies?
"I love walking down Spadina south of College. There are some good art supply stores, like Gwartzman's and Daniel's , but I find my favourite things in the corners of Chinatown -- the cheapest 'supplies' I use are usually found on the ground."
What's the best low-key bar for a clandestine makeout session?
"I've had some good moments at the Communist's Daughter (1149 Dundas West , 647-435-0103) drinking bourbon and listening to the jukebox. Those stairs are a bit tricky and good to fall down if you've got someone to catch you -- and I think you can still hear your songs playing, even when you're on the stairs."
