Photo gallery: The first Pedestrian Sunday at Kensington Market

A rainy, but car-free, start to summer

It rained, it poured, but that didn’t stop hundreds of people from digging their socks out again and descending on Kensington Market for the first Pedestrian Sunday of the year.

In its 12th year, cars risk being towed in the market on the last Sunday of each month of summer, creating a walkers’ Utopia for the local community.

Don’t miss the next one on June 28.
