Power Ball 2014: Old World / New World

The Power Plant’s annual Power Ball is well-known for being an outrageous fundraiser attended by all walks of the city: artists, collectors, partiers and the curious. This year’s party, held on June 5, did not disappoint: the cocktails flowed, the outfits glittered, the cheese pile and candy receptacles in the lobby never emptied.

But the highlight was certainly the art installations, all connected to the party’s theme of Old/New World, inspired by the sharp evolution from analog to digital media.

We spoke to Gaëtane Verna, director of the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, to find out more about the dazzling dispay of work:
