Jameson Whiskey helps make spirits brighter for hardworking hospitality workers of Toronto

Jameson Whiskey

One of the grandest things about the holiday season is the way it brings people together in the spirit of giving. The folks at Jameson Irish Whiskey understand the challenges that marked 2020 are still very much a thing in the final month of 2021. Few industries have been as badly hit by the COVID-19 pandemic as the hospitality sector, which has endured shutdowns and capacity limits affecting everyone from hostesses and line cooks to busboys and bartenders.

That’s why Jameson is inviting Torontonians to give a little extra cheer this year in support of the hard-working hospitality industry. If you’ve been meeting up with friends over drinks this past month, chances are good you’ve spotted a Jameson Holiday Tree in your favourite bar or lounge. Comprised of Jameson Irish Whiskey’s iconic green bottles tiered in the shape of a classic holiday tree, they can be found at T-Dot locations including Jason George, Char No.5 Whisky & Cocktail Lounge, Dive Shop, Duke’s Refresher + Bar, Walrus Pub & Beer Hall, Belfast Love Public House, LOCAL Liberty Village, Loose Moose, and Jack Astor’s Front and Dundas Square locations.

Whether you spot one of the Jameson Trees at bars across downtown Toronto, or you’re celebrating from the comfort of home, snap a photo raising a glass of Jameson, then share that photo with your friends and followers on Instagram, making sure to tag:

@jamesonwhiskey and #YouGatherWeGive.

For every Instagram post, Jameson Irish Whiskey will donate $5 (up to a maximum of $20,000) to the Bartenders Benevolent Fund, a non-profit that provides resources and funding to hospitality workers in need.

The giving doesn’t stop there. Every person who steps up on Instagram from now until December 22 will be entered in a contest where one lucky winner will receive a Jameson Tree for the holidays. Win and Jameson will deliver that tree to your home, making December 25 just a little more festive.

So grab your phone, raise a glass of Jameson, and post a pic to help serve up some holiday hospitality to your local bartenders. We’re still all in this together.
