American Pie – A Songbook Investigation

Soulpepper Concert Series presents American Pie – A Songbook Investigation on March 8th, 7pm at Young Centre for the Performing Arts (50 Tank House Lane, Distillery Historic District).

An investigation of the meaning and musical references of Don McLean’s folk-rock anthem American Pie. Music ranges from Buddy Holly to Bob Dylan to Janice Joplin to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

A Soulpepper concert is unlike any other. Each musical event is enriched with story, dance, design and inter-disciplinary combustion.
