kirsten van ritzen
Nobody does period like Kirsten Van Ritzen. In her various seasons on the ongoing improv soap opera Sin City (Mondays at the Poor Alex), she's padded many a shoulder and milked laughs from pretty much every noir cliché. Now, in her one-person cabaret show, Totally Ridiculous, the Winnipeg native resurrects characters from Sin City and earlier live soap Die-Nasty. Expect improv, monologues and songs. And lots of laughter -- that's the audience participation part. Opens tomorrow (November 30) at the Poor Alex. For details, see listings, this page.
