It's an event that would have Sammy Maudlin salivating and Floyd Robertson wanting to snag a ticket. Original SCTV member Joe Flaherty takes to the stage of his alma mater, Second City, through Saturday. Known in recent years for his recurring roles in the cult TV series Freaks And Geeks and Maniac Mansion (not to mention those ubiquitous cable TV ads), Flaherty revisits some of his best-known SCTV creations, such as Guy Caballero and Maudlin. In addition to a condensed version of the current Second City show, Invasion Free Since 1812, expect a bunch of drop-in guests and a mention or two of the recent SCTV DVD boxed set.
