It’s not easy for a sketch duo to return to the Fringe every year and bring a similar format to audiences, albeit spiced with new sketches. This time, though, Peter N’ Chris stiff-arm the same-old and go meta with their sketch comedy, breaking down their legacy and eventually their differences in a brilliant performance you won’t want to see end.

Chris Wilson and Peter Carlone compete with each other to determine who is the funnier, awarding points for categories such as “physicality” and “showmanship.” And do they ever go for gold. Wilson boosts the energy level in the room with his standout physical comedy, while Carlone’s comedic timing rarely lets the audience rest from laughing.

As a welcome bonus, improv bits offer a refreshing layer of theatrics to a show that normally relies on pre-written material.
