Got a script you’re desperate to have produced? Starting November 19, the Toronto Fringe is accepting original, previously unproduced works (90 minutes max) for its annual juried new play contest. The winner gets a Fringe slot, while runners-up receive cash prizes. Submissions — typed, single-spaced — can’t have received funding for their creation or workshopping, and each playwright (who must be a permanent Ontario resident) may only submit one application.
