Even if you’ve seen it before, you won’t go wrong catching Soulpepper’s revival of one of its finest productions, Death Of A Salesman, starring the award-winning Joseph Ziegler as Willie Loman. Nancy Palk again plays Willie’s wife, with Ari Cohen and Mike Ross as their sons and support from graduating members of the Soulpepper Academy (to October 6). Ziegler also returns as that bah-humbug Scrooge in the company’s perennial holiday favourite, A Christmas Carol, director Michael Shamata’s simple but moving adaptation of the Dickens classic (December 3-29). And you could argue that the production of Samuel Beckett’s Endgame is something of a revival, since the company staged it way back in 1999. Daniel Brooks again directs, with Diego Matamoros returning from that original version this time his fellow performers are Eric Peterson, Maria Vacratsis and Ziegler (October 26 to November 17). 416-866-8666.
