Playwright Sean Reycraft 's One Good Marriage keeps heading to the theatrical altar. After several productions here in Toronto, the show - about a bizarre tragedy that strikes a couple on their wedding day - was then staged in Washington.
Last year it was a hit at the Dublin Fringe Festival . That Dublin production, directed by Diana Belshaw and starring Justin Conley and Siobhan Power , gets a New York remount at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre starting this week. The company's even instituting the apparently Canadian theatre tradition of Sunday pwyc matinees.
Now, how can we lure Reycraft -- who's been writing mostly for TV during the past several years (The Eleventh Hour, Degrassi: The Next Generation) -- back to the theatre?
