Mirror, mirror, on the wall, what's the lamest show of all? This dreary Brit production of the Brothers Grimm tale about vanity, beauty and a truly dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship is a strong contender. Apart from using creepy details from the original source material, including the evil queen eating what she thinks is Snow White's heart and liver, this production adds little to the tale. Original songs, besides being banal, slow down the action. The lighting is overly harsh.
Corny British-style jokes attempt to add some levity, but the funniest parts are the wild overacting, especially by the Queen.
