Three of the Tarragon’s fall shows are returning from previous seasons for another run. Currently playing is David S. Young’s adaptation of Alistair MacLeod’s No Great Mischief, directed by Richard Rose. A saga filled with music and storytelling, the story follows two brothers (David Fox and R.H. Thomson) who try to reconcile their Scottish past and their Canadian present (to October 21). Why Not Theatre’s Ravi Jain and his mother, Asha, spar delightfully in A Brimful Of Asha, another (and lighter) family tale in which Mom is determined to find a bride for her not overly willing offspring (November 25 to December 16). Finally, writer/performer Melody A. Johnson is sure to delight audiences with Miss Caledonia produced by Lunkamud in association with the Tarragon, the tale of a 50s country girl determined to be a movie star was a 2010 SummerWorks hit (October 13 to November 22). 416-531-1827.
