Now that the Libertines have officially announced their collapse, I guess it's time to start eulogizing the Brit bad boys. Here, that consists of a DVD filled with bonus photos and shoddy outtakes appended to a re-release of the band's self-titled swan song, which originally dropped last summer. The best stuff is easily a live performance from Japan, and though most of it sounds pretty messy, head Libs Pete Doherty and Carl Barat were always at their best when things got chaotic. Even handi-cam shooting and shambolic audio can't stifle the band's scruffy charisma. Too bad crack, camera flashes and Kate Moss tore them apart. It was fun while it lasted.
