The product is Action Boys, a low-rent documentary that’s brimming with kick-thwack energy but is also annoyingly chaotic and meandering.
Jung gains access to the sets of Asian TV shows and movies, where demanding martial arts scenes and gravity-defying car stunts take a toll on the action junkies who risk life and limb for that final take.
But incoherent storytelling and a glut of unnecessary scenes make this doc self-indulgent.
