Coyote’s Run Pinot Noir

Rating: NNNN

SPEND

WHAT: Coyote’s Run Pinot Noir 2010

WHERE: Niagara Peninsula

WHY: A great local Pinot at a not crazy price on the regular LCBO shelves. Lots of aromatic action, with a touch of the vegetal, ripe red fruit and an alluring dab of what I think of as well-worn women’s leather gloves. In the mouth: lots of fruit, cardamom soapy spice and deft Pinot texture despite its 14 per cent alcohol. Don’t feed the Coyotes. Drink them.

PRICE: 750 ml/$19.95

AVAILABILITY: At select liquor stores (product #53090)
