Rating: NN

Justice fans have to wait at least six months for the duo’s follow-up to drop, but they can kill some time by listening to fellow Parisian David Guillon’s debut. Unfortunately, by-the-numbers metal-meets-electro slap-bass jams like One In A Million and Nightmare – a rewrite of Justice’s Genesis – bring nothing new.

The last half of Skywriter gets super-repetitive, while Rapture’s Axl Rose-like lyrics and Renaissance Theme’s harmonized hair-metal guitars are just ill-conceived. That said, I defy anyone not to headbang to the catchy (if formulaic) drop near the end of Aerius Light. Does this album rock your body? Sure, a little. Does it stir your soul? Hell, no.
