The grey vintage pinstripe Bungalow vest (273 Augusta, 416-598-0204) is layered under a Miu Miu cardigan from Holt Renfrew (50 Bloor West, 416-922-2333). My red silk scarf was a gift from my friend Nicole She found it at the Hadassah Bazaar. And I picked up this BC pin at the St. Lawrence Market. I like its graphic look. My pants are Dries Van Noten and my white loafers are Paul Smith from Davids (66 Bloor West, 416-920-1000). This grey leather bag is by Jas-M.B. from Barney’s in New York. I guess I don’t dress like most students.”

INTO “Shopping at Sydney’s (795 Queen West, 416-603-3369) — he carries a lot of lesser-known labels that have a quirky, structured edge creating furniture and lighting. My thesis project is going to be on library furniture. The way we collect information is changing, so we need new pieces to use in that space.”
STUDENT TIPS “OCAD is a small school, so it’s important to be social. Check out openings and art parties at galleries like Xpace (58 Ossington, 416-849-2864), which is partly run by students. The Art Gallery of Ontario (317 Dundas West, 416-979-6648) is a great resource, and it’s right next door. When I need to escape from the studio, the Rivoli (332 Queen West, 416-596-1908) has good music and the best Caesars. Investigate the city with your camera if you need to re-spark your creative passion.”
