Dua Lipa is bringing her Future Nostalgia tour to Toronto in February

Dua Lipa is coming to Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on February 23.

Dua Lipa released a modern disco classic right as the sweeping pandemic made partying together nearly impossible. Soon, everybody who’s been hustling and levitating to songs from her Future Nostalgia album alone in their bedrooms during the social distancing era can get together for a collective (masked and vaxxed) blowout.

The English pop star just released an overdue 28-stop North American Future Nostalgia tour, and it will come to Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on February 23.

“When I was writing Future Nostalgia, I imagined the songs being played in clubs on nights out with your mates,” said Dua Lipa in a press release. “I’m so excited that this fantasy is finally coming true. I can’t wait to experience these songs with you together live!”

Unfortunately, mega-star rapper Megan Thee Stallion is not on board for the Canadian dates – which also include shows in Montreal and Vancouver – but the openers, Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouaï, are solid enough to keep you dancing in your seat.

Dua Lipa makes this a blockbuster show on her own – Future Nostalgia was the number one most streamed album of 2020 on Spotify, and there’s still a 50/50 chance you’ll hear Levitating the next time you’re out in public.

Tickets are on sale Friday, September 17 at 12 pm via Ticketmaster.
