This west Toronto riding is traditionally Liberal country.
For the past 18 years it’s been held by a Liberal, and it’s the home seat of Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff. It’s an affluent district: the median income of its 114,635 residents is $30,419 ($5,000 above the national average) and nearly a third of residents over 15 years old have a university degree.
With such a cushy base for the Grits, it’s Ignatieff’s riding to lose.
