Ginette Mohr does double duty

Several years ago, Ginette Mohr made a huge splash at the Fringe with her play Fish Face, a whimsical, magical tale about a woman’s underwater adventures. Now she’s back with The Truth About Comets (from July 5 at the Tarragon Extra Space), another show that seems to toy with fantasy. A boy who’s been missing for 55 years begins speaking to people through the radio, and a mother and daughter (played by Mohr and co-star Ingrid Hansen) have to work together to save their family. Mohr also directs Life As A Pomegranate (from Wednesday, July 3 at the Ulster Coin Laundry), Dawna Wightman’s comedy about an actor seeking a U.S. work visa. On top of all that, the talented artist’s also pregnant with her second child. And you thought you were busy.
