Jason Alexander

Rating: NNNNN

WHO: Jason Alexander, painter, co-owner of Musa Mediterranean grill

WHERE: At his studio WHEN: Wednesday, 1:30 pm

CLOTHING: “I purchased these boots from Aldo (332 Yonge, 416-596-1390, and others) for $120. I have a cottage in Collingwood, north of Toronto. There used to be a cool snowboard shop there called Too Rad for Mom and Dad. I got these insulated pants there for about $80 before it went out of business. I spend as much time outdoors as I do inside, so my clothing has to be versatile for all temperatures. I paid $40 for the red T-shirt I’m wearing from Grreat Stuff (870 Queen West, 416-536-6770). I’ve had this dress shirt from Holt Renfrew (50 Bloor West, 416-922-2333, and other) for over 10 years. It was only $80. My patched corduroy jacket was picked up in the fall in Kensington Market for a mere $25. The necklace I’m wearing was a gift from a friend. It was blessed by an Indian priest to bring good luck in my new restaurant endeavour and has stayed around my neck since the opening.”

HAIR: “Carol at Cutting Edge in Collingwood styles it.” STYLE: “Urban sport.”

INTO: “Painting, the restaurant, snowboarding, hiking, biking, sailing, spending time at the cottage and swimming at the beach.”
