Rating: NNNNN

WHO: Jenifer Papararo and Jinhan Ko, members of the Instant Coffee arts collective

WHERE: Behind 101 Niagara, home of the Urban Disco Trailer

CLOTHES:

Jenifer Papararo: “I got my hat in the hall of a friend’s apartment building. The scarf is really three headbands that Jinhan sewed together. The sparkly gloves are from H&M in Berlin, and Jinhan made my bag from what was left of jeans he was altering for himself. The Paul Frank jeans – two sizes too small but wearable – I got at Goodwill for $5. I altered my blue suede shoe from B2 (399 Queen West, 416-595-9281) by adding a neon orange strip on top they cost $225.

Jinhan Ko: “My hat is from an Edmonton Value Village. My glasses came from Las Vegas. The shoes are Redwing boots from an outlet store in Redwing, Minnesota. A friend gave me the hoodie. I purchased my wool striped pants at the Halifax Salvation Army. My socks cost about $25 from Holt Renfrew (50 Bloor West, 416-922-2333, and others). The T-shirt is an Instant Coffee multiple and is available at Art Metropole (788 King West, 416-703-4400) for $15.”

HAIR: “We cut our own.”

STYLE: Jinhan Ko: “Holistic working style.”

INTO: “Instant Coffee, an arts collective that organizes events and art shows. We’re part of Soundtracks (see feature, page 80) and we’ll be taking our Urban Disco Trailer to the Blackwood Gallery in Mississauga.”
