WHY: Labatt is suing Brick Brewery, claiming Brick’s Red Baron Lime label is too similar to that of Bud Light Lime. David and Goliath or Heckle and Jeckle? In a side-by-side taste comparison, the Red Baron Lime proves to be the lesser and more affordable of two evils, but that’s not saying much. With a bouquet dominated by lime Freezie, it has some discernible beer flavour but also a weird, bitter aftertaste. Low-hanging fruit indeed.
