Why, it’s Malin Akerman! The Hollywood actress on the cover of NOW this week for her role in graphic novel-turned-blockbuster film Watchmen.
Like me, she went to high school for a time at North Toronto Collegiate Institute. But since she was older and not involved in the chess club (I was a member in Grade 9 but didn’t participate in tournaments), our paths never crossed. In fact, I never spoke a word to her and didn’t remember who she was until that NSFW scene in Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle.
From her upward career trajectory, it appears as if she actually is living life as an exclamation! not an explanation.
