One of Toronto’s most electrifying festivals VELD has just released its first lineup ahead of the 11th edition of the festival set to take place at Downsview Park in August and it features some world-renowned artists.

For the first time ever, the festival is introducing house music headliner Fisher, best known for his hit singles “Losing It”, “You Little Beauty” and “Take it Off.”

Next up is American electronic music producer and DJ, Marshmello. He’s known for his signature sound and is recognized as one of the best in the electronic music scene. He’ll light up the stage with his famous singles “Alone”, “Wolves” and “Happier.”

This next Grammy-nominated music producer and Swedish DJ is returning due to popular demand and that’s no other than Alesso. Along his side is the iconic Dutch DJ and music producer Martin Garrix.

To make the lineup even better, American DJ, music producer, and remixer Kaskade, is set to return to the music festival as well.

Last but not least, Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz presents HOLO, a visual spectacle that will mark its first performance in Canada. Organizers describe this as cutting-edge technology that will create a unique and immersive experience that has rarely been seen in North America.

“As we gear up for the 11th edition of VELD Music Festival, the anticipation is reaching new heights and we’re excited to deliver the best VELD experience yet.  Bringing back fan favourites, securing top industry headliners, and featuring Eric Prydz presenting HOLO for the first time in Canada solidifies the promise that this year’s festival will elevate the overall experience,” organizers said in a press release.

Veld takes place from Aug. 2 to 4 at Downsview Park. More details regarding headliners are expected to be released on Jan. 22.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, Jan. 24 and general on-sale tickets on Jan. 25.
