McDonald’s Canada has a new kid on the block and it might look familiar.

The food chain giant is preparing to launch the Chicken Big Mac. The new concoction has been on the minds of the public for a while but has never come into fruition, until now.

Starting on Tuesday Mar. 7, for a limited time only, you can snag the Big Mac 2.0 across Canada.

“We know that Canadians have been hacking the Chicken Big Mac in creative ways over the years, eager to get their hands on the real thing,” Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Canada said in a news release Thursday.

“To these guests, we love your passion and your hacking days are officially behind you: the Chicken Big Mac is finally here.”

The burger will feature classic toppings like Big Mac sauce, lettuce, processed cheddar cheese, pickles and two chicken patties on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Some people are on board and looking forward to trying the sandwich, while others aren’t.
