Blood Ceremony
Metal purists might balk at this choice since Blood Ceremony are not five guys in black with impeccable technical chops and the blackest of black image. But that’s exactly why we like this flute-toting, female-led bunch of occultist Sabbath slaves. There’s no reason why Ceremony can’t be the next Black Mountain. In fact we’re willing to bet our Jethro Tull box sets that they are.
