WHERE? “I’m at Wild Whore Kids Thursday (March 8) at White Orchid (812 Dundas West), then on tour with Crystal Castles most of March in the U.S. I usually do a monthly called No More Heroes with Justin Peroff at the Social (1100 Queen West).” Since he’ll be missing this month’s No More Heroes, your best bet to catch him is this week’s Wild Whore Kids.
WHAT DOES HE SOUND LIKE? He would describe it as “headbanger boogie” or “punchy, rubbery, distorted electro-disco.” If none of that made any sense to you, he’s currently excited by MSTRKRFT, Speaker Junk, KIM, Cowboy/Indian and Black Sabbath.
WHY DOES HE LOOK FAMILIAR? You probably remember him as one-half of the now defunct Thursday-night institution Shack Up or for helping bring interesting and sometimes obscure bands to town.
