Pink Gin

Inspired by the sunshine, I’ve been experimenting with various ways to get my juniper fix. Last week, for obvious reasons, it was via Negronis (June 1 to 7 is Negroni Week), the one before it was gin on the rocks, and now I’ve moved on to a highly complicated (lol) British Royal Navy classic: pink gin.

For those brave enough to tackle this one at home, here’s how:

Fetch a glass from a precariously high to unreachable shelf.

Fill glass with illegal amounts of gin (Plymouth gin if you care about historical accuracy).

Violently douse with Angostura bitters (4 dashes should do, more if you’re a maniac).

If you’re planning to take the weaker route (as I prefer to), stir over historically inaccurate ice and consider a splash of tonic.
