Pride’s literary stages, programmed this year by NOW books editor Susan G. Cole, are packed with diverse talents. Saturday’s slate includes Shani Mootoo (3:30 pm), a lesbian mothers segment featuring Cole, Diane Flacks and Elizabeth Ruth at 5 pm, and a set from Kenji Tokawa (7:30 pm). Canada Reads shortlister Brian Francis highlights day two, Sunday (4:30 pm) alongside Zoe Whittall (5 pm), playwrights Damien Atkins and Catherine Hernandez (6:30 pm) and tons more.
